Skills, Collaboration Interests, Core Capabilities, and Areas of Collaboration
Core Capabilities and Areas of Collaboration are tag items that can be added to your Organization's DMDII Member Profile Page. These are used to help organizations both: find other organizations similar to their own, and to find organizations that may be interested in collaborating in some way. Knowing what capabilities and knowledge your organization can bring to the table makes it much easier to get a conversation started across organizations especially for DMDII Project Calls.
Skills and Collaboration Interests are tag items that can be added to your Organization's Profile page. These are used to help organizations both: find other organizations similar to their own, and to find organizations that may be interested in collaborating in some way.
Adding Core Capabilities and Areas of Collaboration
To add these tag items to you DMDII Organization profile page an organization administrator must go to the organization member profile page by visiting the member directory, searching for the organization using the search field an click on Edit DMDII Member Profile button on the profile page. The organization administrator can also visiting the My Organization profile page and click on the Edit DMDII Member Profile button. This will you to the edit profile form. In the Core Capabilities and Desired Areas of Collaboration text fields, begin to type the capabilities and click on them to add to the list. To add more item, erase what is written in the text field and begin typing the next tag. To remove Core Capabilities or Areas of Collaboration simply click on the tag itself that appears under the text field.
When done, save the form.
Adding Skills and Collaboration Interests
To add the these tag items to your organization profile page, an organization administrator must go to the My Organization (Accessible in the top menu of the DMC Website), and then click on the Edit Profile Button on the page. This will bring up a form where all content on the page can be edited, including the skills and Collaboration Interests.
The Collaboration Interests section is found under Projects tab, and Skill are found under the Skills tab.
In the Skills and Collaboration Interests text fields, begin to type the capabilities and click on them to add to the list. To add more item, erase what is written in the text field and begin typing the next tag. To remove skills and Collaboration Interests simply click on the tag itself that appears under the text field.
Skills not included in the auto complete can be added by typing the skill name and clicking enter.
When done, save the form.
How to use Tags
To make use of these tag, in the future users will be able to search for companies that have these tags. For the time being, users can visit other organization profiles and see if those organizations have those tags of interest.
