With the V.0.1.1 (Beta) release of the Digital Manufacturing Commons (DMC) platform, a Marketplace has been introduced. This section of the platform is meant to be a place to add applications to be run in the context of a workspace. More information about workspaces can be found on our Confluence Wiki page. Below you will find all of our Demo, Community, DMDII Member submitted and DMC application forms. These applications will all be available in the Marketplace starting January 17^th, 2017.

Running an Application

To run an application you must have first created a workspace first. More about Workspaces.
Visit the marketplace by clicking the Marketplace item in the menu.
Find an application you are interested in using
1. On the application's card, click on the Add to Project button and choose the workspace.
Return to your workspace.
In the Services section of your workspace, you will find the aplication you just added to your workspace. Click on it's name.
Click on the green Run button.
Change your inputs to what you would like.

Click on the Run button.

Submitting an Application for DMC Hosting

To submit an application for DMC hosting developers can send an e-mail to askdmc@uilabs.org and we will work with the developer(s) to begin the process of the application submission, testing and marketplace publication process. In the future, developers will simply need to log into http://portal.opendmc.org,choose Submit App under the Make drop-down menu, fill out the fields included submit your application, and the DMC team will review your application and will respond to your inquiry within 10 business days.
